Only time for a quick walk today but I couldn’t waste that beautiful sunshine. So glad for a few peaceful moments by the river in the middle of a busy work day. I’m so grateful that I love what I do which means it doesn’t feel like work. Even still, there’s times when my head is spinning - usually with ideas - and walking through fields and being by a flowing river helps to calm it and make sense of everything. I’m wondering what your rescue is when your brain is in overdrive?
Hot off the press!!!! An actual book in my hands! Woohoo 🙌 I love it! 💖I was so nervous opening the box - the unboxing is in my stories if you want to share it with me. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing that everything you wanted to share to help runners is all one place and ready to go out into the world. So grateful for all the help from the running community.
Struggling to motivate yourself to exercise? Try something different. Think back to what you used to enjoy as a child. If it lit your fire and made you smile then there’s a good chance it will do the same again now. Monday nights are when I re-engage with my 10 year-old self. 1 hour of adult ballet with @misslaurasandhamschoolofdance
What a stunning day! Perfect for running. I am sooooo busy at the moment with all the usual work stuff and the big lead-up to my book coming out next month. It’s so easy to say I’ll miss my run but I’ve learnt from past experiences that this is when I need it most. I’m sure we’re all guilty of not putting ourselves on our to-do list when life is hectic. Get out the thick, black sharpie and write ME on that list. You’ll be able to cope with everything else with a clearer head and probably do it much more quickly too! #runwell #activehealth #getoutside #selfcare #runninghelps #runnersofinstagram
Honoured to interview @sueanstiss from the @womenssportcollective about the importance of networking for women for @261fearless. Head to the 261Fearless YouTube channel or to 261fearless.org to see the whole thing. Some very useful tips and encouragement!
I love @elbylou ‘s approach to exercise. Pick something you fancy, throw yourself into it 💯 % and embrace the benefits it gives you. So what if you don’t feel like running any more, you can pick it up again whenever you want. There’s plenty of things to get stuck into. You can read all the details and enthusiasm in my latest #activewomaninterview Link is in my blog.
