Unexpectedly amazing run tonight! Time to kill while son doing fell training. Hard walk/run slog up the hill. The sensation of completely flying on the way down. Sometimes you have to be fearless and let go and give in to gravity. Absolutely loved it. What a treat 😌 And to think I almost sat in the car because I’d already had a run today and felt tired after work. Grab those chances everyone!
My running partner is in the dog house. Nipped out for a quick run with her as I have a busy day. She rolled in a huge, soggy cow pat. Full shampoo of dog, harness, lead and me required. She’s drying off in her dog bag but she’s not too happy about it 😏 Bless her 😍 #runningdogs #runbuddy #runwithmydog #smellydog #inthedoghouse
I tried a new route today. City rather than rural. Miles along the canal, out to the sea at Morecambe and then looping back into the city centre. Didn’t notice the miles with so much to look at. Mixing it up, exploring and going somewhere different really brighten up your running I find. Obviously one of the benefits of restrictions easing too. Even if it’s just down a different road why not try a little exploration on your next run? #runwell
Look 👀 A huge extract from Run Well in @runnersworlduk this month. I’m super proud! So grateful RW have given it so much space. I hope the tips help the readers ☺️ #runwell
Here’s a handy infographic I created to help you manage hay fever and running. 4 simple steps to stop hay fever getting in the way of your running.
A cracker of an evening walk. I did go live on here but my signal failed so apologies if you joined me. Walking not running as post Covid vaccination and my body was telling me NO. Felt so calm after wandering in this beautiful scenery. So chilled that getting back and having to make tea for everyone feels like far too much action 😂
